I AM CAPTAIN JOHN PRAHL

a fourth generation Miami native. I have been fishing All Three Sides my entire life. From the urbanized Gold Coast through the shallows and reefs of Florida Bay, the Florida Keys to the wilderness of Everglades National Park on the West. South Florida provides one of the most diverse and challenging, but also one of the most prolific recreational fisheries in the world. Each area is accessible and fishable year round in a wide variety of weather conditions for day trips from your home or hotel. 

All Three Sides Charters and Captain John Prahl is licensed and insured to fish all of South Florida waters, including Everglades National Park. In additions, one of the boats hold federal moratorium licenses, allowing charter fishing in federal water in the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing on wrecks and reefs in the Gulf of Mexico includes a wide variety of species ranging from smaller Snapper to giant Sharks and Goliath Groupers, which can exceed six hundred pounds. Productive fishing in the Gulf of Mexico requires knowledge, preparation and the proper licenses to access this exciting fishery. More than a few of the fish here will try to rip the rod right out of your hands.

INEXPERIENCED ANGLERS.

The most productive charters can be customized with the captain’s input and suggestions, depending on the time of year and what is biting. I will make suggestions depending what the angler wants to catch. All experience levels and ages (young and old) are welcome. Locals are welcome aboard to learn specific techniques for species they’ve had trouble targeting in the past. Experienced guests are welcome to bring their own gear if they desire.
